A pipeline design engineer who had attended RCP's 2-Day Pipeline Integrity Management Workshop and RCP's 2-Day DOT Compliance Workshop also attended DOT's week-long program for training and qualifying individuals to be Integrity Management Plan Auditors. Based upon the knowledge he gained from the two RCP workshops he had already attended, he was able to actively and constructively participate throughout the week-long seminar while others struggled to keep up. The DOT Office of Pipeline Safety was so impressed with his understanding of the integrity management requirements that he was offered a job as an auditor at the conclusion of the workshop.
The engineer says he "strongly recommended to all of the attendees that they attend RCP's workshops if they wanted to find out what was going-on".
