Pipeline Integrity Management
Pipeline Integrity Management is the newest regulatory requirement for pipeline operators. The DOT rules covers operators having over five hundred miles of hazardous liquids pipelines while the rule from the Texas Railroad Commission covers operators of intrastate hazardous liquids and gas pipelines.

Operator Qualification Programs
All DOT pipeline operators must have a written qualification program by April 27, 2001, and must complete the qualification of individuals performing covered tasks by October 28, 2002.
